We can see in this picture the world's lowest spot and it's where a battle between the Romans and Persians took place and in that battle the Romans were defeated. The holy Qur'an talks about this battle and tells us that the battle took place in the world's lowest spot. Allah, the exalted says in the holy Qur’an:
“A. L. M. * The Roman Empire has been defeated-* In the earth’s lowest place; but they, (even) after (this) defeat of theirs, will soon be victorious-* Within a few years. With Allah is the Decision, in the past and in the Future: on that Day shall the Believers rejoice.” Rum or the Roman Empire: 30: 1-4
It’s been proven that the Dead Sea and the surrounding area is the world’s lowest spot, 390 meters below sea level. The question is who told Prophet Mohammad, PBUH, about this scientific fact which hasn’t been discovered except recently.
