The ant, one of the smallest living creatures on our planet, is in fact one of the “heavyweight” champions of our animal kingdom, as it is capable of lifting objects 20 times its weight!  Imagine how difficult it would be for us human beings to perform such a feat; to carry something 20 times our weight!  Not only that, but they can cross great distances and climb tress whilst carrying them.  On a human scale, we can compare this to a person carrying a small car on his back and walking for about 10 kilometres (maybe even climbing a few mountains on the way!) with that car on his back.  So how does the ant manage, and who provides for it and helps it survive?  It is none other than God Almighty: {And so many a moving (living) creature there is, that carries not its own provision! Allah provides for it and for you. And He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.} [Al-‘Ankabut, 29:60].
