Psychologists have recently found that there are various differences between men and women. Liza Diamond, researcher, says that polygamy for men is a natural thing that’s necessitated by their instinct unlike women who should suffice with one man because the structure of the brain of men is different from that of women. That’s why it’s abnormal for women and against their instinct to have several affairs at the same time. All glory to Allah; isn’t Islam then the religion that's in harmony with human instinct for it allows polygamy for men while prevents women from it? Allah, the almighty says:
If ye fear that ye shall not
Be able to deal justly
With the orphans,
Marry women of your choice,
Two, or three, or four;
But if ye fear that ye shall not
Be able to deal justly (with them),
Then only one, or (a captive)
That your right hands possess.
That will be more suitable,
To prevent you
From doing injustice. Nisaa or the Women: 3 (ibid)
