This ant climbs the tree and defends it against the small insects that like eating this tree; God made the ants love eating these harmful small insects and so they protect the tree from damage. The world of ants is very strange and it looks like ours, God be he exalted says:
(There is not a moving (living) creature on earth, nor a bird that flies with its two wings, but are communities like you. We have neglected nothing in the Book, then unto their Lord they (all) shall be gathered)
[Surat Al-Anaam, verse: 38]
All the insects in nature are created by God to perform a specific work for the continuity of life.
