Scientists discovered that the ant owns a very hard external cover, this cover protects it from dangers and shocks. But when it is exposed to a hard shock, then this cover is destroyed like glass. In the story of prophet Sulaiman peace be upon him, the ant says:
(Till, when they came to the valley of the ants, one of the ants said: "O ants! Enter your dwellings, lest Sulaimân (Solomon) and his hosts should crush you, while they perceive not)
[Sûrat An-Naml, verse: 18]
i.e. the Quran talked about the crushing of ants before the scientists have discovered it, and this is from the miracles of Quran.
